Matfen Hall can cater for a party of up to 120 for a wedding breakfast and up to 250 for an evening reception within our East Wing. We are licenced for civil ceremonies and Same Sex Partnerships. The Great Hall can seat a maximum of 120 guests. We can also provide a preferential rate for mid-week weddings.

Wedding Open Day in Northumberland

Our next Wedding Open Day will take place on Sunday 27th June 2010.
This is a fantastic opportunity to see Linden Hall’s period rooms laid out for wedding breakfasts and ceremonies. Meet some of the recommended suppliers that will make your day unique. These include wedding photograph and video specialists, Mark Williamson and One Digital Image, whose work will be on display. Inspiration for your wedding flowers will be provided by popular local florists, The Flower Centre.

Located at the heart of the Northumberland countryside, just outside the picturesque village of Morpeth, the Macdonald Linden Hall Golf & Country Club is a beautiful venue for any wedding. Make the most of our vast lawns and hold a relaxed summer wedding in a marquee pitched in the open air.

On the 25th April 2010, Longhirst hall have an open day. Mark Williamson Weddings will be attending this event so please feel free to have a look at the sample album and ask for any infomation, dedicated wedding co-ordinators will also be on hand to  offer all the help you need to organise your wedding day taking away your stress and leaving you to enjoy the perfect wedding day.

On Sunday 28th March 2010 Kirkley Hall will have there first wedding fair of the year the second one will be held on Sept 26 2010.

On February 28th Linden hall are having an open day, so if you have just got engaged over the valentines weekend this will be a great start in search for that all important wedding venue.
